A soul searcher tossed out of a Harry Potter generation eagerly trying to find his Hogwarts express towards new adventures. I blame 90's popular culture for cursing me with the body aching curiosity that will forever keep my mind in a Peter Pan Neverland. Although this curse has me woken at night searching the web for my next thrill, it most certainly as well keeps me on track and has me facing every day trying to beat yesterday's Fredrik. And so the cycle continues. The goal is to be in the center of genius and stupid. Or as I like to call it, in the Andy Kaufman space.

Give us your bio in under 500 words
I'm a strategic multi-disciplinary designer who enjoys solving tricky problems. I enjoy working with teams and also shine when working alone. I'm inspired by Abraham Lincoln's quote: "give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first hour sharpening the ax." I'm flexible, committed, and excited to bring my life experiences to a team of people excited about creativity. I'm a helpful person and cannot wait to show companies what I've got.

1. What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?
I traveled around the world at age 21 and put myself into uncomfortable and challenging positions daily. I made so many friends in unexpected places. From uncertainty came global connections and friendships. It was a true testament that the universe wants connections to be made and people to flourish and succeed. — submitted by user @marcel
2. How are creativity and innovation related?
You cannot innovate without creativity. As I mention in my definition of creativity, creativity is the ability to see what isn't there.

3. Why do companies need clarity and creativity?
Humans have never faced this many decisions we process on a daily basis. We're flooded with noise about products and services. If a company cannot be crystal clear they will not capture their audience's attention. If the company is not creative they will surely be copied or outperformed. Given the history of top performing companies in the world, many are out-performed in less than 20 years. If a company cannot innovate or pivot they'll be left in the dust.

4. You have 30 minutes of free time. What do you do with it?
I'm a curious person with many varied interests, so it varies day to day. However my approach wouldn't change: spend 5 minutes to meditate and set an intention. In those 5 minutes I would decide how those remaining 25 minutes would contribute to my daily and/or longer term goals.

5. What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?
To reduce emissions contributing to global warming. There are so many companies with wise leadership who are tired of turning a blind eye in exchange for filthy profits.

6. Explain your creative process
It's similar to my approach to life. Set the goal. Identify the problems preventing me from getting there. Diagnose the problems. Design solutions to the problem. Execute on the plan: what needs to be done and when.

You can't make everyone happy, you're not a jar of Nutella.
