I was born in Italy and after completing my University studies in Communication and Business, I moved to Barcelona (Spain) in 2009. After 10 years of work experience in sales and account management for different companies and agencies, I felt the need to change my career. I was unsatisfied, unhappy and I felt I wanted to pursue a more creative career and path which suited me a lot more. I had always been fascinated by creativity and images and I have completed many photography, ceramic and art workshops since I was a child. So, in 2017 I decided to start studying graphic design. I completed my 3 years bachelor degree attending classes at night, after my 8 hours work day. I became very passionate about graphic design even if it meant compromising my life for 3 years, studying and working at night and during the weekends. I am now looking forward to starting work as a designer in order to be able to leave my current job and dedicate my whole time to what I love most.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?

As cliché as it sounds, quitting my job and going for a solo trip to Australia (with few money) in order to understand what I really wanted to do in life.

How are creativity and innovation related?

Creativity and design thinking boost innovation. Innovation can't exist without creativity because to innovate, you have to think outside the box, go out from your comfort zone and try new ideas and things without the fear of being wrong. Brainstorming and unusual/crazy ideas are the key to innovation.

Why do companies need clarity and creativity?

Companies need to be flexible, up to date and adapt whenever there is a need. A clean workflow, a team that has flexibility and it is built with the goal of adding value to every step of the process, is a winning team. Creativity is key within companies, group brainstorming can help to come up with new ideas and make everyone feel part of the same journey.

You have 30 minutes of free time. What do you do with it?

I go for a run or walk while listening to music.

What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?

I believe that the initiative I have taken in leaving my comfort zone and taking the leap into the world of graphic design in order to restart my career in my mid 30s has been a tricky but very rewarding move so far. Therefore my goal is to be able to work as a successful designer for the rest of my life.

Explain your creative process

My process starts with an extensive research about the product I have to design: history, context, target, benchmark, message, values. After an accurate documentation of this research I start with sketches (logo, claims, packaging or whatever it is involved) and the research of the best typography to convey the message I want to express. Once I find it, I design a wide range of options from where I finally select 3 or 4 to work on.

What is the best advice that you have been given?

Never loose faith and never stop exploring / studying.

What is your definition of creativity?

Having an open mind and being able to see things in a different light and perspective. A connection to being curious about the outside world and absorbing inputs from people and experiences around you to create something unique.
