What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Give us your bio in under 500 words

I am a graphic designer living in New York, originally from Philadelphia. My interests include printed materials, working with my hands, and opportunities to continue learning.

1. What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?

Leaving school in the middle of my college career to understand how to move forward in my life with purpose.

2. How are creativity and innovation related?

As the world gets increasingly more complex our societies require people who are able to assemble a future with what we have, and see solutions that do not yet exist.

3. Why do companies need clarity and creativity?

So that what they are producing is not redundant.

4. You have 30 minutes of free time. What do you do with it?

Play with my kitten.

5. What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?

My main goal in terms of my career is to be able to dedicate myself to work that is fulfilling for myself and is beneficial to others, instead of being driven purely by financial gain and contributing to inadvertent waste creation. The more time I spend in the professional world the more I understand how rare this type of situation is, to the point that I imagine it to be risky.

6. Explain your creative process

It varies for me per project. A simplified version would be something like this: Sometimes a specific idea will occur to me and then I will build out the work centered around that. Often I am in need of inspiration of some sort, which often draws me to looking through an assortment of printed materials or typography until something draws me in. In either of those scenarios I then begin a sketching process that can happen on the computer or with a pencil and paper. After I feel I have a solid concept I like to receive feedback from other designers and non-designers, and will make and make changes as I see fit.

7. What is the best advice that you have been given?

Do not make decisions based on fear.

8. What is your definition of creativity?

A way of approaching the world (be it through design, mathematics, literature) that allows you to produce ideas that offer a new and compelling solutions or perspectives.

9. What 10 songs are on your favorite playlist right now?

I’ll Be Here In The Morning - Townes Van Zandt Describe - Perfume Genius Baby’s Arms - Kurt Vile All I Want - Joni Mitchell Debold - Vegyn Skin - The Glands Fast Car - Tracy Chapman Jasmine - Jai Paul Ab - Arthur Strangers Kiss - Alex Cameron

10. How do you want people to remember you?

Somebody who is generous, intelligent and helpful.

Have you been convicted of a crime and/or a felony? If so, what was the offense? State the city, country, and date.
