What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Tell us why you're the best applicant in under 50 words

Years ago I took a risk by switching careers and enrolled in art school because I wanted to a) make something everyday and b) change the world. The world is noisy. I want to make noise that is meaningful, disruptive, and thought-provoking. Let's make our noise count.

1. What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?

Standing up for a friend. I had heard about the competitive nature of art schools, but living in it became my reality. We were in a particularly difficult class and my friend was picked on, berated in public actually, by another student. Mind you, we were all adults in our mid-twenties. My friend was quiet and non-confrontational. She didn’t deserve to be treated so poorly, especially by someone who used to be her so-called close friend. Living and working through that competitive class was a difficult task alone, but I also wanted to ensure that future students would never have to deal with the same negative atmosphere as me and my friend. She was willing to let it go, but I couldn’t. I thought about the future students who were coming straight out of high school, or internationally. If they weren’t equipped with coping strategies, then I could at least tell our department and ensure that no one else had to deal with what we had.

2. How are creativity and innovation related?

So much so, you can’t have one without the other.

3. Why do companies need clarity and creativity?

When you’re not clear on your goals, it’s impossible to achieve them.

4. You have 30 minutes of free time. What do you do with it?

Right now with COVID, I’d say chilling with my dog for a bit and then running around with her in my backyard to soak up some sun. Apparently I’m deficient in Vitamin D.

5. What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?

My answer will probably change in a few years, but I would love to make my passion project Us. / Contraception for Men a real company. I created it with a much bigger vision in mind, so I’d love to expand on it beyond the 2 web pages of my portfolio. As a short-term goal, I want to elevate the interaction people have with healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry, to one that is a little humorous and accessible. As a long-term goal, I think that the mere existence and availability of male contraception on the market could trigger social change in the way we think about manhood and the expectations couples place on each other.

6. Explain your creative process

Know the brief and its clear objectives. Dive into research, both informational and visual. Get your hands on all brand touch points, from large to small. Conduct a brand/store audit of the assigned company and compare what the standard is with competitors. Ideate continuously, allowing yourself weird ideas too. Interview real users of the product. Work in sprints and gather feedback from team.

7. What is the best advice that you have been given?

At the end of the day, listen to your gut.

8. What is your definition of creativity?

Creativity manifests in so many different ways. I personally love creativity in the form of food, storytelling, and stand-up. Being a creative in practice though, is about giving yourself the child-like freedom to think, play, and experiment on an idea. It also requires the discipline and resolve to follow through and execute an idea.

9. What 10 songs are on your favorite playlist right now?

Music should be heard! Please follow the link to listen. The playlist is curated to be listened in order, and stands in as an audio narrative of June 2020. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6zh5UJUG3wsaXrS7dXnwmo?si=9rFx6e7JRxy_Q_YhlIHbdg

10. How do you want people to remember you?

Self-starter, sparkling, and down-to-earth. Being a creative is not only a way to make a living, it’s how I live and breathe. It gives me immense joy to be in a position that truly affects change and inspires action in others, hopefully for the better.

Have you been convicted of a crime and/or a felony? If so, what was the offense? State the city, country, and date.
