What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

1. What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?

The most courageous thing I have ever done is apply to GLAAD's campus ambassador program. I had just recently come out as gay before quickly heading to college in a new city. I decided that I wanted to make a difference in the queer community and be the representation I never had. I was accepted and it changed my life because the program constantly challenged me. From attending pride marches to writing about my trauma and life stories, I learned to love myself as a non-binary individual and gain much needed confidence.

2. How are creativity and innovation related?

Creativity, to me, is being boundlessly free. Free from stigma and reservations. Whether you fail or succeed, creativity is about tapping into yourself and telling your stories. Creativity is the womb of innovation because without boundless freedom, we would have nothing new.

3. Why do companies need clarity and creativity?

Companies need clarity and creativity generally to communicate their stories and missions. They need creativity to be authentic while they need clarity to deliver the message of authenticity.

4. You have 30 minutes of free time. What do you do with it?

Generally, I listen to music and sketch or talk to friends. Listening to the synth-infused beats of Lady Gaga or the neo-soul crooning of Kali Uchis, I usually get my inspiration from social media, such as Pinterest or Instagram. Even nature informs my sketches. I have always gotten lost in typography. It's communication but with anthropomorphic qualities. The type sketches I do often start as just drawing shapes but eventually end up telling my story.

5. What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?

If I could dedicate my life to solving a problem, it would be to solve LGBTQIA+ violence. Being queer, I believe representation and love are the highest priorities globally. I would love to work for a non-profit or grassroots organization to amplify my voice and the many young voices the media never listens to. Through design, I think I can tell many unheard stories, specifically by tapping into my own cultural aesthetics and intersectionalities.

6. Explain your creative process

I first start with inspiration. Usually I got to Pinterest or Instagram but sometimes other things inform me. Nature is a huge inspiration for me because it connects all people. After I gather my inspiration, I begin to design. I usually work with a paper and pencil before going digital. After receiving feedback and critique, I go digital.

7. What is the best advice that you have been given?

Do not allow people to dim your shine because they are blinded - Lady Gaga

8. What is your definition of creativity?

Like mentioned before, creativity, to me, is being boundlessly free. Free to create whatever you wish to create.

9. What 10 songs are on your favorite playlist right now?

Loner - Kali Uchis i want war (BUT I NEED PEACE) - Kali Uchis Solita - Kali Uchis Free Woman - Lady Gaga Better than Me - Doja Cat Quiero Bailar - Ivy Queen The Princess and the Clock - Kero Kero Bonito MONTERO - Lil Nas X ROYL - Chloe x Halle Bees & Honey - Rina Sawayama

10. How do you want people to remember you?

I want them to remember me as being unique and one of a kind
