What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

1. What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?

The most courageous thing I’ve ever done is move across the country at 16 to study art at a boarding school called Oxbow in a city I’ve never heard of.

2. How are creativity and innovation related?

Creativity comes first. I think creativity and innovation are a cyclical process of error and bravery. Both require you to say yes to the unexpected.

3. Why do companies need clarity and creativity?

Companies need clarity and creativity because that is the only way to design for people. People are diverse and have different needs and problems and it is the job of designers to discover solutions. Those solutions are only possible with the clarity (of the audience, the issue, cause) and creativity.

4. You have 30 minutes of free time. What do you do with it?

Work on my knitted sweater; it takes a lot of time to knit a sweater and currently it's only arms.

5. What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?

I want to solve homelessness with design.

6. Explain your creative process

I’m inspired by the things that surround me so I often just sit and soak up information through movies, walks, books and I take aspects of it and create a solution. The solution usually starts with a feeling; most often the feeling is empathy. Then I create an image for the feeling and it goes from there.

7. What is the best advice that you have been given?

You can’t succeed if you don’t try even if you fail at first.

8. What is your definition of creativity?

Creativity is trying things once, even if it’s silly. Creativity is saying yes to silly things and sitting with it until you create something great.

9. What 10 songs are on your favorite playlist right now?

5ft7 x Tonstartssbandt Prototype x Outkast Is It Any Wonder x Durand Jones Electric Relaxation x A Tribe Called Quest Ladies x Fiona Apple The Man Who Sold The World x David Bowie The Boss x James Brown Viva Tirado x El Chicano Trop Tard x MUNYA Asri Gurbet x Cem Karaca

10. How do you want people to remember you?

I want to be remembered as kind.

Have you been convicted of a crime and/or a felony? If so, what was the offense? State the city, country, and date.
