What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

How are creativity and innovation related?

Why do companies need clarity and creativity?

In order to stand apart from their competitors, and to make meaningful and impactful connections to their audience. If a company doesn’t present itself in a way that clearly expresses their vision and intention, then their audience will be less likely to connect, even if they share the same values.

You have 30 minutes of free time. What do you do with it?

Work on a small, self-contained project in a medium or format I’m unfamiliar with. I enjoy being out of my comfort zone in a controlled setting, which allows me to find a different approach or perspective or technique that I wouldn’t have known before. I also find that being outdoors, going for a walk or bike ride, can also help give me some space to think about a challenge from a different perspective.

What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?

What is the best advice that you have been given?

To approach design and artistic practice as something that is cultivated over a lifetime, rather than as a race to reach a certain goal as fast as possible. I love what I do, and it’s important to me that I’m able to sustain my work and practice for a long time, and not be in a rush to get burnt out in the pursuit of a certain standard or expectation of achievement. I want to use design to impact positive change in the world and my community, and I know that fulfillment doesn’t happen overnight.

What is your definition of creativity?

I see creativity as each person’s unique perspective or approach to life as a whole. Even those who don’t think of themselves as the creative type are still making thousands of small choices everyday that are unique to them, and I think successful ‘creatives’ are the people that are able to understand those patterns, and to apply them to solving problems in a non-rigid and flexible way, that produces something beautiful, not just in the aesthetic sense.

I always hope to have had a positive impact on the people in my life, however small it may be. I hope that people remember me as someone kind, accepting, and welcoming above all else, but I also hope that they see me as a very positive and inspiring person to work with, or to talk with.
