What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

1. What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?

Calm someone during a shooting – When I was around 17 the jewelry store at the mall got robbed and they started shooting, people started to run to take cover and a woman was in shock in the middle of the aisle, I went for her, calmed her down and took her to take cover. But on the fun courageous things I've done include bungee jumping and finishing my first marathon!

2. How are creativity and innovation related?

Both come from the need for a solution to a situation and they complement each other to add better value.

3. Why do companies need clarity and creativity?

Clarity gives a clear scope of time, talent, people, resources, goals and creativity allows to step out of our comfort zones and try new ways, methods, etc. Creativity without clarity, would be and endless cycle. Clarity without creativity would make it hard to see beyond what's obvious.

4. You have 30 minutes of free time. What do you do with it?

Depends on where I'm at but if I could only just pick one thing... solving a puzzle!

5. What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?

A goal I've had since I was a child is to work outside México, not because I don't love my country but because I think you enrich yourself profesionally and personally surrounded by different cultures and ideas. If I could dedicate my life solving one thing would be to make a more empathic world.

6. Explain your creative process

1. Brief – Understanding the client, service, product, user and scope. 2. Research and benchmark – What is direct and indirect competition doing right? what can be improved? Why is the service essential to the current market and what will the market win with it? 3. Concept – Find a story behind the brief and research that links the service/product with the users. Create the foundation to the brand, build a solid brand promise. 4. Brainstorm & Exploration - Explore the brand personality through color, typography, layouts, etc. sketching essential to let out all of the ideas in a fast way. 5. Test - Design across different channels. Does it work for both print and digital? Is the message comming across the best way? 6. Pitch – Tell the story, lead the client through the process in an easy way, at the end it's the client's project / baby and he needs to understand to followup on the design. 7. Improve – Listen to the feedback, good or bad, and adjust what needs to be adjusted. I don't think it's a linear process, you can go back to sketching or researching and even though sometimes you have to do a project by yourself, don't forget to ask for feedback and share your ideas with other designers, developers, or anyone to make sure the message is coming across as intended.

7. What is the best advice that you have been given?

Give your best but don't burn yourself out (mental health is important).

8. What is your definition of creativity?

The ability to recognize patterns, gaps and opportunities to create something new, better or different.

9. What 10 songs are on your favorite playlist right now?

It Takes a Lot to Know a Man – Damien Rice Cheers Darlin' – Damien Rice Light On – Maggie Rogers Shrike – Hozier Azul - J Balvin SKR – Zoé Não Sou Obrigada - POCAH Notion – Tash Sultana Tu Sin Mi – Dread Mar I Vendedora de Caricias – Panteon Rococo

10. How do you want people to remember you?

As an easy going, smart and kind person who made them feel good about themselves and can count on.

Have you been convicted of a crime and/or a felony? If so, what was the offense? State the city, country, and date.
