What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?

To own my mistakes. We’re often told to present yourself as the most polished version as possible. This sets an unrealistic pressure that kills budding ideas. Sometimes being the leading member, to own my mistakes takes courage and humility and this shows courage in the heat of it all.

How are creativity and innovation related?

Both informs one another to create a tension that forces one to evolve from each other. Creativity allows the mind to wonder while innovation ground the ideas in society and culture. You can't have one without the other; they're a mutual relationship.

Why do companies need clarity and creativity?

Creativity is the starting point of all projects. Companies who're seeking to transcend decades must understand creativity is integral for meaningful work. Environments and systems that downplay the active role of creativity risk regimented assumptions. While clarity brings creativity into focus. Clarity is needed to draw the right context for creativity to be received. Among us today, the creative class are becoming aware of this balance.

You have 30 minutes of free time. What do you do with it?

I'd like to run. This helps me remove myself from message clutter to focus on the thoughts I've been to busy to pay attention to. More than ever, the need to shift from one physical environment to the next is prioritized.

What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?

Our education system is broken. The tools of creative trades have been democratized and so we're turning to schools to provide the social aspects of learning yet, they fail to reevaluate the structure of programs. The problem is the that they fail to adapt to real-time industry practices.

Explain your creative process

My practice is centred around myths and communities. I tend to listen in on assumptions and biases raised in these circles and explore the implications on a social and cultural level. My goal is to find the unique POV through the lens of youth culture. I can synthesize these findings into briefings and commercial creative work.

What is the best advice that you have been given?

We're all born into a script. If we were to except a script that we were all born into, we would accept destruction.

What is your definition of creativity?

A uniqueness combining your experiences and craft into a POV distinct to you.
