I'm a graphic designer from Swedesboro, New Jersey, and recently graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in the fall with a BFA in graphic design. I had always been interested in art ever since I was a kid. When I went to high school at Kingsway Regional HighSchool I was introduced to graphic design.
When I was young, I saw the Public Theatre branding for "Shakespeare In The Park" designed by Paula Scher. Her combination of typography and photography immediately grabbed my attention, and at that moment I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
It is my goal to create designs that maintain a healthy balance between visual impact and functionality. My goal is to tell stories through design.
Some day, I hope, my designs will inspire and influence other young artists like I was inspired by Paula Scher, and The Public Theatre.

2. How are creativity and innovation related?
Creativity and Innovation are related in the same sense that creativity is going outside of the box in trying something different, new, and thinking about certain tasks differently than everyone else. Then once that is applied it turns into innovation of doing something that no one thought of, or pushing the boundary of what creativity is.
3. Why do companies need clarity and creativity?
Companies need clarity and creativity because it allows the company set them apart from other companies and it is how they define themselves. Whether it’s a client that is strictly commerce like Nike or Adidas it could trigger someone to say I want to buy that product. Or if it’s a hotel it could trigger someone to want to go stay there cause something that is designed by a studio help communicate the type of feel that someone might get from staying at that specific hotel.

5. What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?
If I could dedicate my life to one problem it would probably be LGBTQ+ discrimination. Being gay and having experienced discrimination myself it is a topic that is very important to me. There has been a lot of big steps forward within the movement but the fight never ends.
6. Explain your creative process
My creative process usually starts out with me researching whatever the company or topic or client may want me to do just so I can understand what I’m designing or problem-solving for. Then once I have information and knowledge about the topic or subject I start sketching which usually starts out with 100 thumbnail sketches. Then from there I normally choose about 15 to 20 to define more and sketch out in more detail. Then I’ll pick a favorite if I’m not working for someone or showing a creative director I’ll pick a favorite or one that clearly has a better solution for the problem. Then I start putting it together digitally whether it’s key art posters for theater or if it is billboard designs or social media posts I’ll start putting it together in Adobe or whatever program may be used for the best outcome. Then after that I go to either the creative director or friends for feedback and so I can start making refinements and start getting it narrowed down to what the final outcome will be.
