Bio

My name is Valeria, in 2019 I completed my bachelor degree (after 3 failed years as a medical student), as a Graphic Designer, from ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering; an internationally oriented educational and research institution affiliated with Pompeu Fabra University. I specialized in print design with a focus on editorial, visual identities and illustration, and I have been honing my skills and learning new ones ever since. I am a quick and eager learner and consider myself an open and curious person, funny, hard-working and detail oriented. I have been working as a freelancer since my move to the Berlin, a year ago. I have collaborated on several projects with Friendzone Studio, David’s Freunde, as well as personal freelance projects. The projects varied from designing a catalogue for a conference, visual identities for a consultancy agency, to a wellness and yoga app. A year into living in this city and after a lot of hustling and a lot of perseverance, I was hired on an internship at my current company Muehlhausmoers, an editorial agency. I can say with confidence that I’ve learned a lot on the way. I moved to Berlin in 2019 with the hopes and dreams of finding a job in my field and I am still dreaming of that moment.

5. What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?

If I could dedicate my life to solving one problem it would be the differences between men and women in society and work environment. I want to bridge the gap that separates us and give equal opportunities to women. I want to make that possible through projects around this topic.
