I am Panayiota Christou. Born and raised on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus in a family of five. Always naturally drawn to arts whether that was dancing, music, or drawing. I, later on, discovered a big interest of mine which is phycology and human behaviour that I study as an amateur. Furthermore, I currently speak three languages Greek, English and Spanish and I am also a huge fan of Latin music and dances that I've been practising for at least five years. I am also in my third and final year of studies at Leeds Beckett University in the UK in the course of Graphic Arts and Design.
1. What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?
I knew from very early on what I wanted to follow. When I had to go to High School I left all my friends behind and chose a Technical School instead, specialised in Graphic Arts and Design. Due to that, I didn't only have to cope with the new environment and different subject of interest but also socialise and make new friends. Later, I was courage enough again to chose a foreign country for my bachelor degree, I had to face the same challenge in a way bigger scale. This time the hardest part was not only meet new people but also get used to the language and accent. Although I spoke English beforehand, it is not my maternal language. Furthermore, I had to get to know a different way of teaching and try understanding the new mindset and culture that British people have. I combined their way of thinking with what I already knew, in order to deliver my work and reach the learning outcomes that were expected of me by the end of the semester.
2. How are creativity and innovation related?
Creativity and innovation are two terms that coexist. You can't have the one without the other. If someone is creative that means he is also innovative because nowadays with all this exposure that designers and creatives have through social media it is way harder to stick out of the masses. You will realise you did something new and creative when you get the attention and recognition you wish for. That is making a statement...being innovative.

It is the recipe for success. That is when a company thrives.

5. What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?
If I could solve one problem it would defiantly be the environmental crisis. 6. Explain your creative process
My creative process is a lot based around research, not just on what is in the market but on other artists and companies as well. Moreover, I almost every time have a specific idea or concept that I want to communicate which is the goal for the project. As of the mediums I use they deffer each time as I get bored easily and want to try new stuff every time. However, I enjoy a lot experimenting with ink and carbon and a lot of times my final result will be a combination of pieces I produced by hand combined with digital elements.
