Tell us why you're the best applicant in under 50 words
I'm 22 years old, and despite what most of my peers claim to say- we're not that old yet. I know that there are others who possess greater skills than I, but I also know that it doesn't make me less deserving of the slot than them. I'm not afraid to ask others what they want of me. Most times that I'm asked- I do, and I'm not afraid to make mistakes along the way, so long as the client is happy in the end.

My name is Cara, I graduated Senior High as an Animation student and took one term in
college as a Multimedia student before dropping out. I’m the eldest of my three siblings,
two of which are attending school still. As an Artist, I aspire to grow in the direction of
wherever art exists. I’ve undergone paid training in CSR to know what it is to earn from
hard work, now I would like to know what it is to earn from hard work in pursuing my dreams. College will always be there waiting for me.
1. What's the most courageous thing you've ever done?
Definitely this internship application. In the middle of COVID-19, travelling to a different country to be with many like-minded individuals with a zest for Arts. I'll be bringing extra face masks/shields, and packing some purell.
2. How are creativity and innovation related?
Creativity and innovation both stem from imagination which is innate in everyone. Some may have more than others, but it always depends on how curious or brave you are to tap into that gift.
3. Why do companies need clarity and creativity?
Normally, companies wouldn't want to hire amateurs unless they're interns. They need their employees to understand that creativity can be unstructured, and while it may work for exceptionally brilliant people, a company cannot always afford it. Which is why clarity of character means that you are self-aware of your environment and knows just what and how to present your creative ideas to the conference table.
4. You have 30 minutes of free time. What do you do with it?
If I'm not backed-up with work or projects, I would most likely go somewhere to relax and get some food. Otherwise, I would definitely just sit and finish whatever it is I have to do at that moment.
5. What is one risky and bold goal in life you have? Or, if you could dedicate your life to solving one problem, what would it be?
A bold goal for me... Is perhaps starting a YouTube or Streaming channel with my friends where we could talk, play games, make some art, have some fun and maybe earn a bit of money from it.
6. Explain your creative process
I try to stray away from the stereotype of Artists staying up until 5AM to complete their pegs/prompts. I usually scroll around through Pinterest for inspiration whenever I'm in an art slump. When I'm given a task, I weigh the amount of effort I'll have to put into it. If there is no deadline- I set one for myself.
7. What is the best advice that you have been given?
K.I.S.S. "Keep It Simple, Stupid!" amongst the best of advices that my mother has given me, this is the one I seem to carry throughout my day-to-day life. A good reminder to not take life (or yourself) too seriously, and to just do little things that make you happy.
8. What is your definition of creativity?
Honestly, I always loved Albert Einstein's definition of creativity being: intelligence having fun! Personally, I believe creativity is the flame that people have in their youth and in some 50 yr/olds that go to the grocery and for some reason come back with art supplies and glitter.
9. What 10 songs are on your favorite playlist right now?
1. Send me on my way- Rusted Root
2. Beautiful girls- TikTok Remix by Eduardo Luzquinos
3. My way- Ella Mai
4. Dirty little secret- The All-American Rejects
5. Here's to the zeroes- Marianas Trench
6. Stutter- Marianas Trench
7. This means war- Marianas Trench
8. Who do you love- Marianas Trench
9. Good to you- Marianas Trench
10. Dirty laundry- Blackbear
10. How do you want people to remember you?
I want them to know that I don't judge harshly, and that I'm shy, but good-natured and easy to talk to.
